Merc: Name it. How hard could it be?

要什么尽管说，有什么难的？

我们都知道，name 作名词有“名字、名声、名人”的意思，而name作动词则有“命名、说出…的名称/名字、确定、任命”的意思。

此句中的name作动词，是 to state sth exactly的意思，即确定、说定、准确陈述。

举个栗子：Chairs, tables, cabinets—you name it, she makes it (= She makes anything you can imagine).椅子、桌子、橱柜----凡是你说得出的她都能做。

还有口语中经常这样用：Name your price.给个价吧！

Brunch: a meal that you eat in the late morning as a combination of breakfast and lunch

Tan: if a person or their skin tans or is tanned, they become brown as a result of spending time in the sun (使)晒成褐色，晒黑

Take the piss ( out of sb / sth ): BrE to make fun of sb, especially copying them or laughing at them for reasons they do not understand 拿…开心，嘲弄模仿

Petty：caring too much about small and important matters, especially when this is unkind to other people 小气的，狭隘的

Hooray : ( also hurrah, hurray ) used to show that you are happy or that you approve of sth

Fairly: used to emphasize sth that you are saying (用以强调) 简直，竟然

The rest of the time, you could screw in the pool.

Screw：除了有“拧紧、揉成一团、诈骗（钱财）”的意思，还有 to have sex with sb [ taboo, slang] (和某人)***的意思

也可以在口语中这样用：screw him/ you/ that etc. 去尼玛的/见他的鬼

They are talking about the suggestion -- go to L.A. and do an American version of the hit in their home.

Sean talks Bev into agreeing the suggestion.
