辛普森一家的爸爸Homer和他新养的宠物猪的愚蠢行为引发了一场环境危机，不仅让家人陷入了危险之中，还差点把他的家乡Springfield从地图上永久地抹去。在全家逃往阿拉斯加之后，家人们决定回到Springfield，拯救自己的家乡，但Homer却害怕失去现有的安稳生活，没有和家人一起回去。
