莎拉·布莱曼（Sarah Brightman，1960年8月14日－），英国跨界音乐女高音歌手和演员。早期因演绎安德鲁·洛伊·韦伯的音乐剧而闻名于世。1992年巴塞罗那奥运会上与何塞·卡雷拉斯演唱了《永远的朋友》一曲，并与中国歌手刘欢同唱2008年北京奥运会主题歌《我和你》（You and me），是唯一一位演唱过两届夏季奥运会主题曲的歌手。

歌曲讲述了一位在战火中亡故的普通士兵，他再也不能回到那朝思暮想的家乡，再也不能与心上人一同享受生活的甘甜了。一边擦拭着自己的武器，一边恋恋不舍，拦住路过的商人，请求他们捎去自己对远方恋人的爱和思念，捎去他永远不再有机会实现的诺言。
