1.read the question thoroughly and underline important parts.

2.make a brief plan for each answer.

3.think about the target reader and format, especially in Part 2.

4.read all of the question in Part 2 before starting to write.

5.write in paragraphs, possibly including headings if relevant.

分段写，有可能的话，加上相关的标题。

6.write in full (grammatically correct) sentences and use a range of structures to avoid repetition.

写作的句子要完整，语法要正确，尽量多地使用不同结构，避免重复。

7.use a range of vocabulary, even if unsure of the correct spelling.

用词要多变，不要重复写同一个词，即使不确定拼写，也要尝试用不同的词。

8.check writing, e.g. for verb tenses, plural forms and word order in sentences.

检查。检查的内容包括词时态，单复数形式，词序语序。

9.spend more time on Part 2 than on Part 1.

时间分配应该是第二部分的时间多于第一部分。

10.include figures in Part 1, but make sure they are correct.

第一部分的写作中可以加入数字，但要确保数字正确。

11.write the number of the question answered in Part 2.

第二部分写作时，回答问题要编号。

12.include the name and position of the writer in a report or proposal.

在写报告或建议时，应该标明作者的姓名和职业。

13.include opening and closing formulae, name and position in a letter.

在写信时，注意开头和结尾的格式，标明写信人的姓名和职业。
